Description:
Forest management plans facilitate the protection and management of forests for production. The application package contains tools for digitizing and integration of exiting forest plans into a comprehensive ArcGIS database as well as the tools for new plan development and its maintenance. The toolbox contains the following functionalities: • Integration of planning boundary, planning units, like divide and sector, natural boundaries like, ridge, creek, river, settlement and province boundaries, and topographical information. • Special symbols like management unit guides are provided. • Sampling points are generated automatically based on distance input. • The system contains full symbol sets based on Turkish forest planning conventions.
