Frits van der Schaaf has 30 years of experience in geographic information systems (GIS) technology and management. His international career has included roles in consulting, business development, and corporate management in a variety of vertical markets, including electrical utilities, airports, the oil and gas industry, and manufacturing. Van der Schaaf manages Esri’s automotive sector, bringing real-time GIS and spatial analytics to global companies’ connected-car initiatives, sales operations, and supply chain management.
