What's Coming in ArcGIS Mission 12.0

ArcGIS Mission, Esri’s command-and-control software, enables organizations to manage, track, and coordinate a wide range of operations in real time and at scale. Combining situational awareness, secure team communication, and location tracking helps teams execute and review missions effectively. In the upcoming release of ArcGIS Mission 12.0, users can expect a range of enhancements focused on improving operational efficiency, streamlining communication, and expanding operational capabilities with the ArcGIS system, delivering an even more responsive and collaborative experience.

 

Features and Enhancements to Evolve Event Management

Through a mixture of enhancements and new features, this release brings some long awaited requests to life, while providing  powerful new capabilities. One feature is so exciting that it just may require its’ own blog.

Some of the newest features include:

  • Mission Flows introduce a dynamic, real-time experience empowering mission managers and responders notifications of critical mission information.
  • Manager Filter Presets allow mission managers to configure their Mission Analyst view in a manner that suits their needs.
  • Attribute Data Editing expands feature editing to Mission Responders, enabling attribute management and opening the door to more flexible workflows.
  • Providing TAK User Awareness in Mission Responder.  Responder users can now see TAK Users in a mission fostering greater operational coordination and situational awareness.

We also are introducing some long awaited enhancements such as:

  • Address Support makes it easier for a misison manager submitting a report or assigning a task with an associated location.
  • Mission Analyst Lasso tool quickly identifies users in a specified area and allows for a quick chat or task assignment.
  • Edit Chat Importance from Mission Responders to be less limiting on who has control over chat importance.
  • Assign Task from Find Nearest Responder quickly assigns the nearest responders to an event.

This is just a sneak peak of a few of the enhancements and features that will be released in less than a month and are designed to make mission planning and execution a more seamless process.
