Deliver photorealistic 3D with enhanced Gaussian splats

Gaussian splats continue to evolve as a powerful 3D representation, providing highly photorealistic detail for complex environments. In this release, improvements in fidelity enhance the representation of thin structures, vegetation, and high-frequency textures, resulting in more accurate and visually realistic outputs. These enhancements strengthen the ability of Reality Studio to capture detailed urban environments and infrastructure, supporting use cases that require both visual quality and spatial precision.

Accelerate results with faster processing and rapid mode

This release introduces significant performance improvements that reduce turnaround time and help teams deliver results faster.

Rapid mode for time-sensitive workflows

A new rapid processing mode enables users to generate True Orthos and digital surface models in a fraction of the usual time, making it especially valuable for time-sensitive scenarios such as emergency response, construction progress tracking, and operational decision-making. It can also be used to quickly validate data before committing to full-quality production workflows, helping teams catch issues earlier in the process.

Performance enhancements for large-scale reconstruction

Performance enhancements across reconstruction workflows further accelerate production by allowing more processing stages to run concurrently and speeding up output finalization. In addition, optimized workflows reuse image alignment results to reduce redundant processing and shorten overall job completion times.

Together, these improvements enable organizations to move from data collection to usable outputs more quickly, even for large-scale projects.

Scale production with cloud-enabled workflows

ArcGIS Reality Studio now supports cloud-based production workflows, giving organizations the flexibility to process larger datasets without being constrained by on-premises infrastructure. Teams can run end-to-end workflows using virtual machines and cloud-hosted inputs, enabling them to dynamically scale compute resources based on project demand. This approach helps reduce long-term infrastructure costs while improving delivery predictability and simplifying capacity planning. Users can now incorporate external 2D and 3D data into their projects to provide better visual context during review, helping teams identify issues more quickly and make informed corrections. At the same time, support for multi-user workflows allows multiple contributors to inspect and edit results in parallel, accelerating review cycles and improving collaboration.

Additional enhancements to water body editing provide a more efficient workflow by enabling broad adjustments first, followed by targeted refinements where needed. This combination of improvements helps reduce manual cleanup while ensuring more reliable and accurate deliverables.

Streamlined user experience

Usability improvements across the interface make Reality Studio more intuitive and efficient to use. Updates to the image measurement tool, project tree structure, and pane design reduce friction and help users navigate workflows more easily. A new way to access offline help

This release also introduces a new offline documentation experience through the ArcGIS Documentation Center, a single desktop application that provides access to help content across ArcGIS Reality Studio and other ArcGIS desktop products.
