New and updated map layers contributed through the Esri Community Maps Program released to the online basemaps!
We recently released basemap content updates including new Community Map contributions for states, cities, counties, and universities across the United States and in six cantons of Switzerland.
These contributions help enhance content in the Living Atlas of the World through the Community Maps Program and add value and usability to Esri’s online basemaps. See information below about becoming part of this community.
Here are two story maps featuring communities where new and updated content are available. The first shows the addition of map data contributed and published in the basemaps such as World Topographic and World Street map. The second details our World Imagery updates.
