December 2015 Local Government, State Government & Utilities Solutions Updates

The December 2015 release of ArcGIS Solutions for Local Government, State Government and Utilities includes 7 new solution releases, 3 solution updates, 2 information model updates and 5 solutions that have entered the Mature lifecycle phase.

New Solutions

Election Results is ideal for informing citizens who won an election and how precincts voted.

Polling Place Wait Times enables election staff to collect and report wait times to cast a vote.

Fire Incident Maps help fire departments create, manage and share fire incident information.

Public Comment enables governments and other organizations to collect feedback from stakeholders.  Potential uses include receiving public comment on land use changes and capital projects.

Basic Scenes creates and publishes foundational 3D scenes to support common 3D workflows and applications across a local government.

Impact Analysis helps utility staff identify impacts on infrastructure from incidents such as windstorms, hurricanes and wild fires.

Facility Reports for Gas Gathering enables pipeline operators to generate and share reports about pipes in gas gathering systems.

Updated Solutions

Citizen Problem Reporter includes a new Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS Configuration for monitoring of non-emergency problems submitted by the general public and a new GeoEvent Extension for Server configuration for real-time notification of problem submittal.

Joint Use Survey has enhanced symbology, a new geoprocessing model to use Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS and an updated schema to support the use of related tables.

CCTV Processor now is compatible with the PACP V6 data dictionary and has an improved data import geoprocessing model.

Information Model Updates

The Local Government Information Model and the Utility and Pipeline Data Model were updated to support newly released and updated solutions.  Refer to each model’s change log for detailed information.

Product Lifecycle Changes

These solutions are now in the Mature lifecycle phase.  It is recommended that organizations utilizing these solutions actively upgrade.
