Free Community Maps Training at 2015 Southeast User Conference

By Seth Sarakaitis

If you’re planning to attend the Esri Southeast User Conference in Nashville this year (May 4-6th) we may have a good reason to stick around immediately after the main conference.  We recently added a free post-conference hands-on workshop for those interested in learning the Data Prep Tools for contributing data to the Community Maps Program for basemaps.

This workshop, titled Community Maps – Building a Living Atlas of the World will be held from 130pm – 530pm on Wednesday May 6, 2015 at the Music City Center conference center.  The training will be hands-on, meaning that along with instruction and demonstration we will allow you to test the Data Prep Tools with sample scenarios which may mimic the steps a contributor will conduct with their own data.  Important Note:  To conduct the workshop exercises you must bring your own laptop with ArcGIS 10.1 or higher installed.

Contact Seth Sarakaitis (ssarakaitis@esri) who will be the instructor for this event for any questions about the workshop.

We hope to see you in Nashville!
