Let's do our part to keep each other healthy

Check this page for updates about health and safety requirements

Esri is committed to protecting the health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, employees, and presenters. We follow the established protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local health authorities and ask that all in-person event attendees do the same. Esri will continue to assess the evolving public health guidance regarding large gatherings and adapt accordingly. These guidelines are subject to US government and local rules and regulations.

We encourage every individual to make informed decisions about attending our events in the best interest of their own health as well as the health of others. If you cannot or choose not to follow the on-site health and safety requirements, you will not be permitted to attend Esri in-person events.

In-person attendance requirements

All attendees, exhibitors, presenters, and Esri employees at this event are required to provide proof of a negative result from a COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours prior to attending the event. Individuals who are unable or unwilling to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result must verify that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The event will implement a third-party application for verification of both vaccination and negative test results.

Proof of negative COVID-19 test result

Negative results are acceptable from either of two types of COVID-19 tests: polymerase chain reaction (PCR, also called diagnostic or molecular) or rapid antigen test (also referred to as a rapid test).

Either of the following will be accepted for entry (when accompanied by a valid government issued photo ID):

  • Electronic proof of a negative test result through an app approved by show  management
  • A printed or digital copy of your negative COVID-19 test results, written in English, that indicates the type of test administered (PCR or rapid antigen test) and has your name and the date the test was administered

PLEASE NOTE: A negative COVID-19 test result obtained within 48 hours of the event means that the test must have been completed no earlier than 48 hours prior to the first event day, in order to be accepted for entry for all event days.

To find a COVID-19 test facility, contact your health care provider or your local or regional public health authority.

Proof of vaccination status

A person is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after receiving either of the following:

  • The second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covaxin, Covishield, BIBP, or Sinovac vaccines
  • A single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine

This guidance applies to COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (WHO) or approved for full use by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on or before March 16, 2022. See the full list of emergency-use and authorized vaccines.

If an attendee or exhibitor does not meet these requirements, they are not considered fully vaccinated.

Common questions

A person is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after receiving either of the following:

  • The second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covaxin, COVISHIELD, BIBP, or Sinovac vaccines
  • A single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine

This guidance applies to COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (WHO) or approved for full use by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on or before January 25, 2022. See the full list of emergency-use and authorized vaccines.

If an attendee or exhibitor does not meet these requirements, they are not considered fully vaccinated.

All attendees at this event are required to provide proof of a negative result from a COVID-19 test taken within  48 hours prior to the start of the event. Individuals who are unable or unwilling to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result must verify that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Esri supports the use of Health Pass with the CLEAR app to verify vaccination. If you are unable to download the CLEAR app and use Health Pass as verification, you can provide your proof of vaccination on-site for manual screening at the Health Pass Help Desk.

Esri will be using Health Pass via the CLEAR app to verify test results or vaccination status and does not have access to any personal information that you submit to CLEAR to complete your Health Pass.

There are two options to digitally verify your COVID-19 vaccine via CLEAR. Select the one that works best for you:

  • Upload a photo of your CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card.
  • Digitally link a vaccination record or test result from a health system or pharmacy.

Privacy is at the center of everything CLEAR does, and CLEAR is fully committed to protecting members' information. CLEAR does not sell or rent any personal information that you submit to complete your Health Pass and will only use personal information to deliver a frictionless and secure experience with CLEAR. You can read more details about this on the CLEAR Privacy Policy page.

Select your vaccine or test result provider in the menu or by conducting a search of other providers. Log in to your patient portal and follow the instructions to securely link your account with CLEAR.

The CLEAR app is integrated with select health-care providers and pharmacies. Please note the following:

  • If you are unable to find your provider through a search, CLEAR may not be able to link to it at this time.
  • Check that your COVID-19 vaccine appears in your patient portal; if not, we recommend that you reach out to your provider directly.
  • Your results will link automatically; do not try to resync your results.
  • Sync time varies by provider and may take up to 30 minutes.

Once synced, proceed to complete your Health Pass.

When prompted, select add your vaccination card to upload a photo of your card.

Open the app and tap the Health Pass tile. Choose Open Health Pass to retrieve your result.

Attendees who do not complete the Health Pass will be required to show their CDC vaccination card and photo ID at the Health Pass Help Desk.

No, you must show your Health Pass in the CLEAR app because it is a dynamic screen.

Your Health Pass for this event is valid for 30 days. If you used a Health Pass for another event, you would need to add the event code and reconfirm your identity with a quick selfie.

We encourage attendees to practice social distancing measures, including keeping a physical distance of six feet where possible, as recommended by the CDC. Socially distanced seating options will be provided in all venues, including at all education sessions and networking events. Exhibit Halls will include wider aisles, and booths will be spaced apart.

We are working with our partners to ensure that CDC-recommended cleaning protocols are followed during this event and that high-touch surfaces are being thoroughly disinfected.

All attendees, exhibitors, and staff should do the following:

  • Avoid attending the venue if experiencing any flu-like symptoms
  • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and/or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Engage in additional responsible health and safety practices, whether on or off the event premises
