Esri is committed to protecting the health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, employees, and presenters. We follow the established protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and ask that all in-person event attendees to do the same. Esri will continue to assess the evolving public health guidance regarding large gatherings and adapt accordingly. How do I report inappropriate behavior?

Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. If you see or are the target of any inappropriate behavior or language, please report it to an Esri or conference staff member. We are dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment.

How can I buy Esri products and merchandise?

You can purchase Esri swag, books, and other items at the Esri store at the conference. Esri software licenses are also available to purchase online.

Can I receive a certificate of attendance or continuing education credits for attending the conference?

Upon request, we can provide a certificate of attendance after the event. Email to request your certificate. Unfortunately, we do not offer continuing education credits for attending the Esri User Conference.

Registration questions

What is the cost of this event?

The cost of this event will vary depending on the attendee type. Please refer to the registration details page to find your applicable rate.

Can I register for this event on-site?

General registration will be offered on-site but will be limited. On-site registrants will be required to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Please note that cash is not accepted in payment for on-site registration.

Will I receive confirmation of my registration?

Once you submit your registration online, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. If we are unable to confirm the information you have provided, we will reach out to you.

If I need to cancel my registration, what is the cancellation policy?

For cancellations received after June 13, 2022, registrants will forfeit 50 percent of their registration fee. Confirmed registrants who do no not participate or who cancel after June 27, 2022, will forfeit their entire registration fee, and registrations received after this date will not be eligible for refunds. If you need to cancel due to special circumstances, please email with your request for review. Substitutions for registrants can be made at any time. Esri reserves the right to cancel any event or training if the minimum registration is not met. If Esri cancels an event, registration fees will be refunded. Canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your housing reservation, if applicable.

Health and safety questions

What does “fully vaccinated” mean?

A person is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after receiving either of the following:

  • The second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covaxin, COVISHIELD, BIBP, or Sinovac vaccines
  • A single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine

This guidance applies to COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (WHO) or approved for full use by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on or before January 25, 2022. See the full list of emergency-use and authorized vaccines.

If an attendee or exhibitor does not meet these requirements, they are not considered fully vaccinated and will not be permitted to attend in-person events.

Will I need to provide proof of vaccination to attend?

All attendees, exhibitors, and Esri employees at the conference must demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This event supports the use of the Health Pass by CLEAR app to verify vaccination. If you are unable to download CLEAR Health Pass and use it as verification, you can provide your proof of vaccination on-site for manual screening at the Health Pass Help Desk.

How do I verify my COVID-19 vaccination?

Esri will be using CLEAR Health Pass to verify vaccination and does not have access to any personal information that you submit to CLEAR Health Pass.

There are two options to digitally verify your COVID-19 vaccination with CLEAR. Select the one that works best for you:

  • Upload a photo of your Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card.
  • Digitally link your vaccination record from a health system or pharmacy.

How does CLEAR protect my personal data?

Privacy is at the center of everything CLEAR does, and CLEAR is fully committed to protecting members' information. CLEAR does not sell or rent any personal information that you submit to Health Pass and will only use personal information to deliver a frictionless and secure experience with the CLEAR app. You can read more details about this on CLEAR's Privacy Policy page.

How do I complete my Health Pass?

Select your vaccine provider from the menu or by searching other providers. Log in to your patient portal and follow instructions to securely link your account with CLEAR.

The CLEAR app is integrated with select health-care providers and pharmacies. Note the following:

  • If you are unable to find your provider, CLEAR may not be able to link to it at this time.
  • Check that your COVID-19 vaccination record appears in your patient portal—if it doesn't, we recommend that you reach out to your provider directly.
  • Your results will link automatically; do not try to resync your results.
  • Sync time varies by provider and may take up to 30 minutes.

Once synced, proceed to complete your Health Pass.

How do I upload a photo of my CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card to complete my Health Pass?

When prompted to add your vaccination, select ‘add your vaccination card’ to upload a photo of your CDC Vaccination Card.

How do I find my Health Pass result after I close the app?

Open the app and tap on the Health Pass tile. Choose Open Health Pass to retrieve your result again.

Attendees who do not complete the Health Pass will be required to show their CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card and photo ID at the Health Pass Help Desk.

Can I take a screen capture of my Health Pass for entry into the event?

No, you must show your Health Pass in the CLEAR app because it is a dynamic screen.

How long will my Health Pass be valid?

Your Health Pass for this event is valid for 30 days. If you have used a Health Pass for another event, you will need to add the event code and reconfirm your identity with a quick selfie.

Is social distancing required?

We encourage attendees to practice social distancing measures, including keeping a physical distance of six feet where possible, as recommended by the CDC. Socially distanced seating options will be provided in all venues, including at all education sessions and networking events. Exhibit halls will include wider aisles, and booths will be spaced apart.

What specific cleaning actions are being taken by Esri for in-person events?

We are working with our partners to ensure that CDC-recommended cleaning protocols are followed during the event, and that high-touch surfaces are being thoroughly disinfected.

Are there other health and safety actions I should take?

All attendees, exhibitors, and staff should take the following precautions:

  • Do not enter the venue if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and/or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Engage in additional responsible health and safety practices, in or away from the event venue.
