Lorien Innes

Lorien Innes is Senior Sustainability & Development Manager - Africa at Esri. She joined Esri in 2011, and, since 2020 has been working across the public, private and nonprofit sector to help Esri’s African user community leverage GIS to address environmental, social & economic challenges, with a focus on sustainable development, biodiversity conservation, agriculture and food security. She has over two decades’ experience applying geospatial technology to complex natural resource challenges. She holds an Msc in Geology and in her earlier career worked across Africa, Asia and Europe implementing and supporting GIS solutions in the Natural Resources sector.
