Authored USDA’s congressionally mandated annual Geospatial Data Act (GDA) Report to the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) since 2021, leading collaboration with 16 agencies to produce a unified strategic narrative on geospatial data governance and progress. For FY2024, conducted a comprehensive analysis of GDA Covered Agency Reports across federal departments, benchmarking USDA’s performance against national priorities. Developed an executive summary for EGMO leadership that identified key challenges, highlighted five cross-agency priorities, and surfaced strategic initiatives. Also oversee and manage agency GDA Action Plan updates to ensure clear pathways for improvement in areas still under development. This work informs USDA’s strategic planning, reinforces GDA compliance, and strengthens geospatial governance across the federal enterprise.
