Overview
GapMaps provides Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) location intelligence datasets designed to support spatial analysis, market planning, and location-based decision making. GapMaps combines multiple geospatial and consumer data sources to deliver highly granular datasets that integrate seamlessly with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS, data warehouses, and business intelligence tools. The GapMaps data portfolio includes Point of Interest (POI) data, tracking retail and service locations across key industry categories; Demographic data, providing detailed estimates of resident and worker populations, consuming class, and retail spending power; and Visitation (mobility) data, derived from consent-based GPS observations that reveal consumer movement patterns such as origin-destination flows, visit frequency, and dwell times. Additional datasets include Consumer Segmentation data, combining demographic, lifestyle, socio-economic, retail, media, and technology attributes to classify populations into rich audience segments at up to 100 × 100 metre grid resolution, and Hotels & Hospitality data, providing global coverage of accommodation providers and tourism infrastructure. Delivered in structured geospatial formats compatible with modern GIS workflows, GapMaps datasets enable organisations across retail, real estate, financial services, consulting and government to perform advanced spatial analytics for site selection, market analysis, customer profiling, and investment research.
