The company has been the Distributor of Esri between 1991 and 2007. Islem GIS is the market leader in GIS. The company is headquartered in Ankara with regional offices at Istanbul, Izmir and Mersin. Islem GIS has been conducted large number of GIS projects in Turkey. The project areas covers; Regional and Urban Planning, Disaster Management, Environmental Monitoring; Defense; Forestry; Agriculture; Earth Sciences; Land Registry and Cadastre Information Systems; Water Resources Management; Municipal Services etc. Experience in Geographic Information Systems, data management systems, satellite-based data collection systems, digital image processing, and communication technologies increases the success in the disciplines listed above.
