She holds advanced degrees in Sociology and Anthropology and brings more than 20 years of experience in GIS and remote sensing, helping to translate scientific research into applied geospatial practice. A Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) and FAA Part 107–certified UAS pilot, Lain is actively engaged in teaching and interdisciplinary fieldwork focused on understanding landscape change and its broader environmental and social implications.
