Lain Graham

Lain Graham, Ph.D. leads the National Government Health & Sciences Solution Engineering team at Esri, partnering with federal agencies to apply GIS to complex, real‑world challenges. She holds advanced degrees in Sociology and Anthropology and brings more than 20 years of experience in GIS and remote sensing, helping to translate scientific research into applied geospatial practice. A Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) and FAA Part 107–certified UAS pilot, Lain is actively engaged in teaching and interdisciplinary fieldwork focused on understanding landscape change and its broader environmental and social implications. Her work centers on using GIS to turn complex, multi‑source data into decision‑ready insight, helping agencies and communities move from analysis to action.
