AppStudio for ArcGIS at the Esri User Conference 2019

The world’s largest meeting of the GIS community, the Esri User Conference 2019 is right around the corner, scheduled for July 8 – 12, 2019 at the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, California. The AppStudio for ArcGIS team will be there, ready to answer your questions and showcase our latest developments. Below you’ll find the list of events where you can learn more about AppStudio, show off your apps, and meet the team members.

Technical Sessions

Technical sessions are a great way to learn about AppStudio for ArcGIS, where subject matter experts from the development team will cover everything from general product overviews to deep-dives on specific workflows.

Wednesday, July 10, 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm, SDCC – Room 31 B/C

With AppStudio for ArcGIS, you can easily create GIS apps that run natively on smartphones, tablets, and desktops. In this session we will illustrate how you can build your own native apps. With AppStudio, you can create apps without writing code, by extending app samples and templates, or build from scratch. This session will also discuss how you can distribute your apps within the Google Play and Apple stores, as well as throughout your enterprise.

This session will cover advanced AppStudio for ArcGIS topics including building your own custom native GIS applications. We will introduce the basics of programming with QML and Qt Creator in AppStudio for ArcGIS.

Do you like Survey123 for ArcGIS but wish you could extend its functionality? Join this session to learn how to download the source code of Survey123 for ArcGIS and make it your own!

Demo Theater

Demo Theater sessions are focused on specific workflows and features, and are a quick 45 minutes, so be sure to come early so you don’t miss anything.

Would you like to create your own mobile mapping app that works both online and while disconnected? In this presentation, you will learn how to configure an AppStudio template for an offline mobile app that can be distributed in your organization or published to an app store.

Special Interest Group

Are you building web or native apps using Web AppBuilder and AppStudio, or interested in learning about the next generation of Web AppBuilder – ArcGIS Experience Builder? If so, come to this special interest group meeting. Product teams will be present to answer all of your questions, gather feedback, and give updates on each of these app builders. Bring your lunch!
