The world largest meeting of GIS community, Esri User Conference 2018 is around the corner, which scheduled for July 9 to 13 2018 in San Diego, California. Technical Sessions

Technical sessions are a great way to learn about AppStudio for ArcGIS, where the subject matter expert from the development team will cover from product overviews to a deep-dive on specific workflows

Tuesday, July 10, 8:30 am – 9:30 am at SDCC – Room 05 A

Tuesday, July 10, 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm at SDCC – Room 05 A

With AppStudio for ArcGIS you can easily create GIS apps that run natively in smartphones, tablets and Desktop In this session we will illustrate how you can build your own native apps. With AppStudio you can create apps without writing code, by extending app samples and templates, or built from scratch. This session will also discuss how you can distribute your apps within the Google Play and Apple store as well as your enterprise.

Thursday, July 12 1:00pm – 2:00pm at SDCC – Room 30 A

This session will cover advanced AppStudio for ArcGIS topics including building your own custom native GIS applications. We will introduce the basics of programming with QML and Qt Creator in AppStudio for ArcGIS.

Demo Theater

Demo Theater sessions are focused on specific workflow or feature and only 45 minutes, so make sure to come on time.

For the everyday public transit user having your bus stop readily accessible, being on-time, and feeling safe aboard the bus are some of the most important factors in choosing to take transit. To ensure that Valley Metro services meet these expectations, two apps were developed for use in the field utilizing the capabilities Survey123 and further enhanced using AppStudio. These apps provide the planners and operators with a clearer picture of how the transit system is performing.
