Portrayal Support for S-100 IHO Standards is now available in ArcGIS Pro!
Hydrographic organizations around the world are facing a significant transition from the legacy S-57 Electronic Navigational Chart (ENC) standard to the new S-100 standards, and Esri is supporting this transition.
With the release of ArcGIS Pro 3.7 you can bring S-101 Edition 2.0.0 datasets into a map, and they will draw using the official International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) S-101 portrayal catalogue.
For agencies that produce or leverage S-100 data, this means that they can now view these next-generation products in ArcGIS Pro.
Key capabilities include:
- Add S-101 Edition 2.0.0 compliant datasets to the Contents pane
- Render S-101 ENCs using official portrayal catalogues
- Treat ENC objects as feature layers
- Support S-101 feature control
- Custom safety contours
- Colour palette controls
- Set the display mode (DAY, DUSK, etc)
- Modify viewing groups
- Visualize S-57 ENC and S-101 datasets together
