ArcGIS Instant Apps at the 2026 Esri User Conference

The Esri User Conference is almost here, and we’re excited to see you in San Diego! With hundreds of sessions and activities available, there are plenty of ways to explore Esri products and discover what’s new. To help you plan your week, we’ve compiled a list of offerings from the ArcGIS Instant Apps team.

New to Instant Apps? They’re no-code web mapping apps that let you quickly create, customize, and share interactive, mobile‑ready applications from your maps and data, in just minutes. Instant Apps support everyone from first-time map creators to experienced GIS professionals, and the team is hosting sessions for all skill levels. (All times are listed in Pacific Daylight Time.)

ArcGIS Instant Apps: An Overview (In-person)

If you want to transform your maps into interactive web apps for your users, then ArcGIS Instant Apps is the solution for you! Speakers share how to choose, design, and create apps with some popular templates. Understand how to choose the appropriate tools for your desired workflow and build a focused app experience that is accessible to all users. Speakers also share the road map for Instant Apps and discuss what’s to come.

Discover how web apps can unlock capabilities in your web map—such as symbology, pop-ups, bookmarks, and charts—to help you communicate more effectively with your audience. Speakers also discuss how web apps allow users to edit simple attributes of the data if there is an editable layer in your web map.

ArcGIS Instant Apps: Configuring an AI Chat Web App with the Data Explorer Template (In-person, Recorded)

Preview the new Data Explorer template in ArcGIS Instant Apps! This template, the first Instant Apps template to use an AI chat window to explore maps and layers, is in development. When you create a web app with the Data Explorer template, you can use natural language processing in a chat, which enables you to easily search and filter locations, run analyses, or summarize data on a map. Speakers explain how to prepare the required dataset, properly configure the app, and build the optimal app interface for your audience.
