I was honored to represent Esri at Trimble’s Innovate conference, held October 14–17 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Esri has nearly 3,000 partners, and only 18 are recognized as platinum partners, the highest tier. Trimble is one of those platinum partners and one of our most strategic, important, and longest-tenured collaborators. Their diverse business includes hardware and software solutions that integrate with ArcGIS, delivering business value to organizations worldwide.

A team of Esri subject matter experts participated in Innovate, which focused on community development, asset management, capital program management, and asset lifecycle management innovation. The theme was Evolve, Connect, Transform. Together with Trimble and their partners, we help users evolve their use of ArcGIS, transform their organizations and communities, and discover new ways to connect.

The event drew more than 1,200 attendees and featured 150 sessions. Esri delivered five sessions:
- Top Ten Ways to Maximize the Impact of ArcGIS
- Value of the Utility Network and Asset Management
- Connecting Design to Assets with Esri Digital Delivery
- Managing Facilities and Vertical Assets with ArcGIS
- Next-Gen Asset Management with GeoAI Tools
Our booth in the exhibit hall was buzzing with discussions about new ways Trimble users could leverage ArcGIS. Topics included integrating advanced technologies like AI, drones, real-time data, 3D, digital twins, and indoor mapping, as well as updates on vertical asset management, Roads & Highways, Utility Network, ArcGIS Solutions, and streamlining permitting workflows.
We also had some fun. RFK Racing, a Trimble Sponsor showcased a NASCAR racecar and racing simulators at their booth. We enjoyed great food, a social event at the University of Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium, and the NHL’s Utah Mammoth home opener, a 3–1 win over the Calgary Flames.
A big thank you to Trimble for hosting a wonderful event, as well as to all the presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, Esri partners, and attendees who made Innovate a valuable event. Be on the lookout for more information on how Esri and Trimble are continuing to work together to make our customers more successful with the latest geospatial technology.
