TrueTerrain from L3Harris makes the virtual world more realistic. TrueTerrain products are created using L3Harris technology, which merges and mosaics multi-source, multi-resolution satellite and aerial image data from five centimeters to 100 meters with digital elevation data. These realistic geospecific image datasets are orthorectified, coregistered, tonally balanced and seamlessly feather-blended into true-color mosaics. TrueTerrain products are then converted into the specific formats and tiling structures required for easy use within a wide variety of simulation and mapping applications. L3Harris has decades of experience providing geospatial solutions for government and commercial customers, including those within the visual simulation and mapping industries.
