While Wavepoint simplifies troubleshooting of an outside plant (OSP) issue for network analysts, this lightweight Web application can be used by anyone who needs to view or query fiber optic data –. • The network planner who requires a current view of the network • The splicer making changes inside a splice case • The sales representative determining a potential customer’s building is on-net status Wavepoint displays the fiber optic network geographically while also providing data in intuitive formats. The user can view a circuit in a one-line diagram that displays the circuit starting point, end point, and all of the fiber optic elements in between. Then, clicking on any of those elements gives the user details about it and highlights it on the map.
