Cristina Cañizares (she/her/ella) is the global outreach content strategist on the ArcGIS Storytelling team, where she builds strategies that reach audiences across six continents. She grew up living across cultures, languages, and markets, and built a 25-year career in global market expansion and cross-cultural storytelling. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she occasionally moonlights as a translator for the team’s Spanish-language stories — because why not? She believes place shapes possibility, and when she’s not proving it professionally, she’s deep in color swatches and sketches, designing patterns inspired by the details that make every place unmistakably its own.
