When disaster struck during the great Texas freeze in 2021, CVS Health realized it needed a better way to coordinate a rapid disaster response. Teams and tools were siloed, and the conclusion was that more data wasn’t needed, they needed a common lens to look across it. They turned to GIS to create an app to see across systems to help more people right away. Today, that same geospatial foundation supports work across the enterprise. A real-time situational awareness dashboard tells pharmacies which drugs to stock. Personalized alerts in the CVS Health app warn customers of potential risks and provide timely reminders. And departments across the company have access to the accurate, localized data they need.
Explore how GIS empowers teams to act faster, smarter, and more collaboratively in moments that matter.
