ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App updates
Discover the power of ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App Standard: Now included for Creator and above user types in ArcGIS Enterprise
We are excited to announce with the November 2025 release of ArcGIS Enterprise, any user with a Creator user type or above will have access to ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App Standard now included among the apps that come with their license.
New users will notice an interactive onboarding experience to help them get started with ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App.

Business Analyst Web App updates in Business Analyst Enterprise are usually a release cycle behind the online Business Analyst Web App updates. Below, we have broken down a high-level list of the updates in ArcGIS Business Analyst Web App now available in Business Analyst Enterprise 12.0:
ArcGIS Enterprise Portal
With the release of ArcGIS Enterprise 12.0, for the first time, Business Analyst Web App is now embedded in the ArcGIS Enterprise portal setup. Previous versions required separate installation of the Web App for use in ArcGIS Enterprise.
Effects map tool
Presenting the results of your analysis in a visually stunning way can be an important aspect of sharing your work with others. The new Effects tool allows users to style Business Analyst maps to highlight features. This includes adding a drop shadow, de-emphasizing areas, and many other effects to make a map stand out.
Suitability Analysis Correlation Matrix
Selecting the right variables is crucial to perform a meaningful suitability analysis, and highly correlated variables can accidentally skew your results if double counted. A new correlation matrix in the Results pane can be used to evaluate highly correlated criteria in suitability analysis. You can customize the results in the correlation matrix using the Filter and Settings buttons. For instance, only show items with high statistical significance or change the correlation matrix color ramp. These updates will make users more confident in their analysis.
Please note – Business Analyst Web App updates in Business Analyst Enterprise are usually a release behind the online Business Analyst Web App updates. These updates align with the version of the web app released in June 2025.
ArcGIS Business Analyst Pro updates
The latest release for Business Analyst Pro was on November 6, 2025. Improvements in Business Analyst Pro 3.6 included the new add Business Analyst Data utility, as well as new data guidelines and accessibility improvements.

Data Updates
The U.S. 2025 data update is available for ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise and now includes:

- The 2025 Esri Updated Demographics dataset
- New geographic boundaries for tribal, legislative, and Public Use Microdata Areas (PUMAs).

The Business Analyst widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder is a popular and well-loved tool that provides users with the ability to view additional information about any point or polygon feature on a map through the creation of reports and infographics. Here are some of the latest updates we have made:
ArcGIS GeoEnrichment Server updates
ArcGIS GeoEnrichment Server is a server engine for Esri’s industry-leading demographic data. Using GeoEnrichment Server, users can find location facts and demographic characteristics for locations around the world.
The ArcGIS Geoenrichment Server now has support for the U.S. 2025 data and has been updated with several bug fixes and improvements.
