Crime, criminals, victims, and most of what law enforcement deals with has a location: a specific address, building, street corner, block, or similar geography. Data-driven policing through geographic information systems (GIS) enables agencies to leverage their analysis of crime and intelligence information to proactively focus scarce resources in solving community problems, preventing crime and apprehending criminals.

This map provides the comprehensive situational awareness needed to make better decisions as well as the ability to share this information with other involved agencies.
