Quick announcement: Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS v2.2 Developer Edition is now available for download from the ArcGIS Developers site.
This release includes many new capabilities that were recently added to the embedded Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS in ArcGIS Online last month. Highlights include:
- Support for editing related records in the Edit widget
- Option to remove preset filters defined on the web map in the Filter and Group Filter widgets
- Support filtering unique values based on previous expressions in the Filter and Query widgets
- Improved user experience in the Near Me and Smart Editor widgets
- More feature selection tools in the Select widget
- More configuration options in the Splash widget
- A new visualization type in the 3DFx widget

Thanks for the solution. However, upon reading your “configure solutions” instructions, I wasn’t able to configure to match our specific needs I coudn’t add fields to the feature layers. Any help on this? TIA

Hi Jeremiah, Yup, I read that portion, but the first step of adding new field is not doable since “Add New Field” is missing and this is true to all the feature layers included in the solution. When it comes to the survey, it is editable through survey123 but even after publishing, still the situation is the same, the “Add New Field” option is still missing within the feature layers. I’ll reply to you in email with more detail. You do need to delete the HospitalizationPPEs_current view. This is a hosted join view that locks the schema. Then fields can be added, and you can recreate the view.
