ArcGIS Runtime SDKs at the 2019 User Conference

It’s just over a couple of weeks until the 2019 User Conference and the ArcGIS Runtime team is looking forward to seeing you in San Diego.

As in previous years, we’ll have a strong developer presence with Technical Workshops, Demo Theaters, social events, and a dedicated developer island on the expo floor.

Developer Island

Each of the Runtime SDKs will have engineers on hand at the Developer Island. Located next to Demo Theaters 7 & 8 in the expo hall, we’ll be there during expo hours.

Bring your Runtime questions and show us what you’re building. We can discuss best practices, Runtime patterns, even take a look at your code if you like should you need a hand with SDK specifics.

This is your chance to talk one-on-one with the Runtime team, so let us know what you like about the Runtime, what we might do better, and what you’d like to see in future releases.

Sessions

We also have a number of Technical Workshops and Demo Theaters that cover working with each of the Runtime SDKs, how to build offline apps, AR and VR capabilities, and what we have planned for the next few releases.

Tue, 12:15pm-1:00pm

ArcGIS Runtime SDK for iOS: Building Apps (Demo Theater)

Many of the Technical Workshops are recorded, but be aware that the Road Ahead session is not, so make sure to turn up in person if you need to know what we’ve got planned.

Events & Special Interest Groups

Here are some other events that should be of interest to Runtime developers:

Lightning Talks – Mon, 5:00pm-6:30pm (Ballroom 20D)

Developer Social – Tue, 5:30pm-7:30pm (Marriott Pool)

Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality SIG – Tue, 11:30am-12:30pm (Room 28E)

What’s new in High Accuracy GPS for Esri Mobile Apps SIG – Thu, 11:30am-12:30pm (Room 9)

Developer Clinic

As a first this year, we’ll also have a Developer Clinic. Visit this page and scroll down to make an appointment (one per customer).

When would you sign up for the Developer Clinic vs swinging by the Developer Island?

See you in San Diego

We’ve been adding great new functionality to the Runtime with each release and have many exciting new capabilities on the roadmap. We’re always interested to see what you’re building and learn what you need, so hope to see you there.
