DTN delivers actionable insights to empower over 2 million customers on a daily basis in the agriculture, energy, weather, financial analytics, and transportation markets. The company uses Esri’s ArcGIS Server to provide real-time, historic, and forecast global weather content to other organizations for use in ArcGIS Online/Portal for ArcGIS, Web AppBuilder, GeoEvent Server, ArcGIS for Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and the ArcGIS API for JavaScript. DTN’s weather content offering includes over 150 REST endpoints (map, feature, and image services) providing access to hazardous weather detection and prediction, high-resolution forecasts, decision analytics, and much more. All of DTN’s ArcGIS Server infrastructure is deployed in AWS providing both reliability and scalability to handle increased traffic during severe weather events. To provide additional value, DTN has a suite of widgets to help extend the DTN’s data use within the ArcGIS platform by allowing ArcGIS users to easily add interactive forecasts and animation functionality to Web AppBuilder applications. In addition to DTN’s weather data services offering, DTN employs the world-renowned WeatherOps forecast team, staffed by forecast experts who provide global asset protection and commodities trading decision support. Real-time weather content via ArcGIS Server. Archived data for the purpose of historical weather verification and climatology studies. Weather analysis and consulting. SkyWise empowers web, mobile, GIS, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Common Operating Picture developers with the ability to tap into a large catalog of weather analytics and information to integrate within their products. ><br /> Through a combination of cloud-based APIs, SDKs, ESRI Web Services, and gridded and point data sets, developers can incorporate past, present, and future weather information and analytics into their projects. This includes global weather intelligence including radar, satellite, current conditions, forecast models, lightning, hail, tornadoes, ocean data and more.
